Eslabon Armado is a Mexican-American group formed in 2017 in California that has brought a fresh spotlight to the regional Mexican scene by blending the sierreño style with emo influences and elements rarely seen in the genre. Their single “Ella Baila Sola,” in collaboration with Peso Pluma, reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and held the No. 1 spot on Spotify Global for nine weeks, becoming the most streamed Latin song of 2023. Their album *Desvelado* debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200, marking a major milestone for the genre.
