Los Horóscopos de Durango
Los Horóscopos de Durango is an influential regional Mexican music group founded in 1975 in Chicago, Illinois, by Armando Terrazas. Initially focused on the *grupero* style, the band rose to international fame in the 2000s under the leadership of sisters Marisol and Vicky Terrazas. They introduced the *duranguense* style and later incorporated *banda sinaloense*, standing out for their high energy and strong female presence in a predominantly male genre. With hits like “Antes Muerta Que Sencilla,” “Dos Locos,” and “Obsesión,” they garnered multiple awards, including three Billboard Latin Music Awards in 2005, two more in 2006, a Latin Grammy in 2007 for their album *Desatados*, and a Premio Lo Nuestro in 2008 for Duranguense Artist of the Year. Their legacy endures as trailblazers who redefined the landscape of regional Mexican music.
