Tony Herrera, known artistically as THbaby, is a singer and songwriter from Matamoros, Tamaulipas, who has risen to prominence within the regional-urban movement, particularly in the *corridos tumbados* scene. He began playing guitar at the age of 15 and started sharing his original compositions on social media, which eventually led to an invitation to join the Rancho Humilde label—making him one of the few artists from Tamaulipas to sign with the renowned imprint focused on *corridos tumbados* and regional urban music. THbaby’s style is marked by a unique fusion of traditional regional Mexican elements—such as *requinto* and *bajoloche*—with contemporary influences from trap and hip-hop, positioning him as a fresh and authentic voice in the genre’s new wave.
